Sadly The Nicest Hotel

Our first hotel now we're in Bangkok is The Dream Hotel, a small modern 5* hotel tucked away from the main roads but close enough that we'r walking most places.

Sadly though this will most likely be the nicest place we stay for our whole trip and every hotel will pale in comparison :(

From the big 40" telly to the complimentary scales and bum shower in the bathroom its better than any uk hotel iv been in but for the price of a travel inn! You can buy all the furniture and art in the room as its all on the menu and the mini bar is stocked with lovely 42 below vodka :)

The staff are all lovely, though who wouldnt be with this bloody tipping culture! Apart from one woman, at the front desk, who i asked whether we could get the train from the nearby station to the airport and she replied 'its not open yet'. So i quizzed her some what, asking when its likely to be open and when it is whether it takes us straight to the airport. She again told me it wasnt open. So i told her it didnt matter that it wasnt open just yet as our flight wasnt until the evening; so, asking her one last time, when is it open? She replied 'Next year'.
